本課程旨在理解與分析視覺文化研究的經典理論。閱讀的文本包含當代和歷史讀物，以及理論書籍和出版物。目的在於協助學生獲得重要相關知識，建立屬於自己的方法學，以閱讀圖像的各種意義，例如圖像構成、慣例、類型、敘事、記憶和表徵再現等。

課程概要(英文)

This course aims to understand and analyze classical theories of visual culture studies. Including both contemporary and historical texts will be studied, together with theoretical texts and publications. We aim to help our students to be provided with knowledge necessary to create one’s own methodology of reading images, such as: composition, convention, genres, narration, memory, and representation.
