本課程聚焦於近現代東亞對西歐在文化藝術上的影響：包括17至18世紀興起於歐洲的中國風藝術(Chinoiserie)、以及19世紀印象派作品中的日本風格(Japonisme)。課程的內容主要探討跨文化互動的過程中藝術形式的融合、轉化與創新，分析視覺文化與物質文化的交流所反映出的全球化與在地化意涵。

課程概要(英文)

The seminar focuses on the cultural and artistic exchanges East Asia and Western in the Modern Times: Chinoiserie, which emerged in Europe in the 17th and 18th centuries, and Japonisme, which appeared in the 19th century in Impressionist works. The course explores the integration, transformation and innovation of art forms in the process of cross-cultural interaction. It also investigates the meaning of globalization and localization which are reflected in the exchange of visual and material culture.
